DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE BIL SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for BHP Billiton PLC and that as a result of the
dividend declaration relating to BHP Billiton PLC (BIL) the Trustees of the Share Instalment Trust
have declared a dividend amount of 57 US cents per BILNNF share instalment that is payable on
Thursday, 28 March 2013. The conversion rate and amount to be announced at a later date.
The last day to trade cum-dividend is Friday, 01 March 2013. The Share Instalment will commence
trading ex-dividend from Monday, 04 March 2013. The record date will be Friday, 08 March 2013.
