DECLARED FINAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON MTN GROUP LIMITED HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES –
(“MTNIHI”)
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of MTN Group Limited have declared a final dividend
of 503 cents per ordinary share payable on Tuesday, 2 April 2013, to ordinary shareholders and recorded in the
books of the company at the close of business on Thursday, 28 March 2013.
In terms of the new Dividend Tax effective 1 April 2012, the following additional information is disclosed:
1) local dividend tax rate is 15%;
2) No STC credits utilised;
3) net local dividend amount is 427.55 cents per share for shareholders liable to pay the new Dividends Tax and
503 cents per share for shareholders exempt from paying the new Dividends Tax;
4) the issued share capital of MTN Group Limited is 1,883,484,324 ordinary shares;
5) MTN Group Limited tax reference number 9692/942/71/8; and
6) Investec Bank Limited tax reference number is 9675/053/71/5.
Accordingly, the holders of MTNIHI will receive an MTN Group Limited dividend amount per security on Tuesday,
2 April 2013, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec
Bank Limited. The last day to trade (“cum” the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be Wednesday,
20 March 2013.
MTNIHI Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading “ex” the dividend from the commencement of
business on Friday, 22 March 2013, and the record date will be Thursday, 28 March 2013.
