Limited
The JSE Limited (“JSE”) wishes to advise the following concerning certain
findings by the JSE in respect of Alert Steel Holdings Limited (“Alert Steel”):
1. The JSE has found Alert Steel to be in breach of the General Principles
(iii) and (v) and paragraphs 5.29(a) and (b), 7.C.16 (d), 16.2(c), 16.10(g)
and 16.15(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements (“LR”) as Alert Steel did
not disclose in terms of the LR the existence of a sub-underwriting
agreement to the JSE or in the rights offer circular.
2. The JSE has decided to impose this public censure on Alert Steel in
relation to the above-mentioned breaches of the LR.”
