Ms MATHANE MAKGATHO has been appointed Group Treasurer of Transnet SOC Ltd with
effect form 01 March 2013,
Ms MAKGATHO will be responsible for driving Transnet Funding Strategy as well as
managing rating agencies, investor and lender relationships.She will lead all aspects
of Transnets comprehensive Funding Strategy through various funding sources including
commercial paper, domestic bonds, the Development Funding Institutions and bank loans
among others.
