CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Unitholders are advised that Sycom (through its manager SPFM) and Hyprop are engaged in
discussions around Hyprop’s investment in Sycom. Any agreement resulting from these discussions
would be subject to the usual rules governing transactions by a JSE listed collective investment
scheme in property, and would also involve the current litigation being withdrawn. A further
announcement in this regard will follow as and when appropriate.
In light of the above, unitholders are advised to exercise caution in dealing in their Sycom units until a
further announcement is made.
