In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008(“Act”) and regulation
121(2)(b) of the Companies Act Regulations, 2011,shareholders are advised that on the 28 March
2013, Lewis Group Limited became aware of the following:
- acquisition by Sanlam Life Insurance Ltd (“Sanlam”) of shares, such that Sanlam’s total
beneficial interest in the company has increased to 5.12% of the issued capital of the
company.
- acquisition by Sanlam Investment Management (Pty) Ltd (“SIM”) of shares (acting as an
agent on behalf of their clients), such that SIM’s total beneficial interest in the company has
increased to 10.54% of the issued capital of the company.
