Anglo American plc announces that a conditional award of 244,328 ordinary shares in the
capital of the Company was made on 11 April 2013 under the Company’s Long Term Incentive
Plan (“LTIP”) to Mark Cutifani following his appointment as the Chief Executive Officer of Anglo
American plc.
The LTIP provides directors and senior employees with shares awarded on a conditional basis
as determined by the Remuneration Committee of the Board. The current award will vest in
2016, subject to the satisfaction of performance conditions.
The notification of this transaction is to satisfy the Company's obligations under the UKLA
Disclosure and Transparency Rules 3.1.2 to 3.1.4.
