DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE SLM SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for SANLAM LTD and that as a result of the
dividend declaration relating to SANLAM LTD (SLM) the Trustees of the Share Instalment Trust have
declared a dividend amount of 165 cents per SLMNIJ share instalment that is payable on Monday, 29
April 2013. The dividend is subject to a local tax of 15 per cent. STC credits utilized equate to 1.8
cents per share instalment. This results in a net dividend of 140.52 cents per share instalment. The
final payment will be rounded to two decimal places.
The last day to trade cum-dividend is Friday, 19 April 2013. The Share Instalment will commence
trading ex-dividend from Monday, 22 April 2013. The record date will be Friday, 26 April 2013.
SANLAM LTD's income tax number is 9536/346/84/5.
