CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Synergy linked unitholders are advised that the company is in advanced negotiations in
relation to the acquisition of further properties with an aggregate value in excess of R300
million.
The acquisitions are still subject to the conclusion of binding agreements and, accordingly,
linked unitholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in their Synergy securities
until further announcements are made.
