CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with section 3.59(b) of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are hereby
advised that the executive group financial director, Mr. Deon
Bekker has resigned with immediate effect.
Mr. Johann de Wet, will assume the role of interim executive
group financial director for Blue with immediate effect.
Mr. de Wet joined the Group in February 2011. Since joining,
he has been involved in various areas of the business to drive
the turnaround strategy including Insurance, Business Division
and Africa Operations.
Mr. de Wet is a qualified chartered accountant with 16 years’
experience in the financial services sector, having worked in
a number of African countries, and specifically the financial
services industry before joining Blue in February 2011.
