CHANGE TO THE BOARD
In compliance with the requirements of paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements
of the JSE Limited, Crookes wishes to announce the following change to the Board of
Directors:
John Barton (65) has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of
the Company with effect from Wednesday 8 May 2013.
John has assumed many corporate roles over the past years and devotes much of
his time and business expertise to projects undertaken by the broader business
community. Much of his career was spent working for Anglo American and subsidiary
company Mondi. John is a former President and honorary member of the Durban
Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was a member of the Ministerial Steering
Committee for the development of the SA Forest Sector Transformation Charter. He
is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and completed an
Advanced Management Program at Harvard.
