APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on the
Stock Exchange News Service on 15 November 2012 in respect of the
retirement of Roger James Hogarth as an executive director from
the board of Life Healthcare Group with effect from 31 May 2013.
In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the
board of directors is pleased to announce the appointment of
Pieter van der Westhuizen CA(SA)as an executive director and chief
fincancial officer of the Company with effect from 1 June 2013.
Pieter joined the group in 1999 as a financial manager. He has
fulfilled various financial roles in his 14 years with the
Company, his latest being that of Group Financial Controller
The board welcomes Pieter and looks forward to working with him.
