Metmar shareholders (“Shareholders”) are advised that Metmar has entered into negotiations
with regard to the potential disposal of the chemicals, plastics and rubber trading business
known as West African Group, a division of Metmar’s wholly-owned subsidiary Metmar Trading
Proprietary Limited (“the Disposal”). If concluded, the Disposal may have a material effect on
the price of the Company’s securities.
Accordingly, Shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s
securities until a further announcement is made.
