RETIREMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
shareholders are advised that Mr A G Venton has decided to retire effective 30 June
2013 and has resigned from the Board of Masonite (Africa) Limited with effect from
23 June 2013.
Tony Venton has been in the employ of Masonite since 1986 and was appointed Mill
Manager in 1996. He served on the Board of Masonite (Africa) Limited since 2000.
His in depth knowledge of the business, combined with a deep respect for the
Company’s values has ensured that he has played a key role in the business. After
retirement, he will continue to lead certain projects as an independent consultant,
operating from Head Office. The Company thanks Tony for his long and dedicated
service.
