THE AGENCY AGREEMENT DATED 23 JULY 2010 (“AGENCY AGREEMENT”)IN
RESPECT OF EKURHULENI’S ZAR4 BILLION DOMESTIC MEDIUM TERM NOTE
PROGRAMME
Noteholders of Ekurhuleni’s EMM01, EMM02 and EMM03 bonds are hereby
advised, in accordance with clause 24 of the Agency Agreement, of the
termination of ABSA’s appointment as Transfer Agent, Paying Agent and
Calculation Agent and the appointment of Rand Merchant Bank as the
Transfer Agent and Calculation Agent and First National Bank as the
Paying Agent. These appointments shall take effect upon the expiry of 45
days from the date of this notice.
The Notes will be immobilised in the Central Depository (“CSD”) and
settlement will take place electronically in terms of JSE Rules.
