UPDATE REGARDING CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Following the commentary in the press this morning
regarding the sale of Juta Retail and the cautionary
announcement released on SENS last night, the Company
wishes to inform shareholders that the cautionary
announcement that was released on SENS last night is
unrelated to the sale of Juta Retail.
Kagiso Media has been in separate discussions with regard
to the sale of Juta Retail to Van Schaik Booksellers. The
agreements that regulate the Juta retail transaction have
been signed and that transaction, which is not a material
transaction from the company’s perspective, is subject to
Competition Commission approval.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised to continue to
exercise caution when dealing in the company's securities
until a further announcement is made.
