TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the JSE Listings Requirements, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied within a
reasonable degree of certainty that the financial results of the period
to be reported upon will differ by 20% or more from the financial
results of the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, Amecor shareholders are advised that for the year ended 31
March 2013 (“the year”):
- Earnings per share (“EPS”) is expected to increase by 20% - 30% per
share, compared to the earnings of 25.0 cents per share for the
previous corresponding period;
- Headline earnings per share (“HEPS”)is expected to increase by 20% -
30% per share, compared to the earnings of 24.8 cents per share for
the previous corresponding period.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has
not been reviewed, audited or reported on by the Company’s auditors.
Shareholders are advised that the results for the year ended 31 March
2013 will be released by the end of June 2013.
