In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the board of ZCI
announces the appointment of Professor Stephen Simukanga as acting Chairman of the Company, effective
20 June 2013. Professor Stephen Simukanga replaces Edgar Hamuwele, who is unavailable to act as
Chairman of the Company due to personal reasons.
