APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Omnia is pleased to announce, in accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements, the appointment of Ms Khumo Shongwe as an independent non-executive director to
the board of the Company with immediate effect.
Ms. Shongwe holds a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from the Medical University of
Southern Africa (Medunsa) in Limpopo. Although she started her career as a clinical psychologist,
she moved into the mining industry where she established, amongst others a strong human
resources background with companies such as Anglo American Platinum Limited, De Beers and
Lonmin Platinum. In the recent past, she also filled the role of an executive director at Royal
Bafokeng Holdings Limited.
