CHANGES TO THE BOARD
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements
of the JSE Limited, Master Drilling shareholders are advised of
the following:
APPOINTMENT OF AN ALTERNATE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO GARETH ROBERT
SHEPPARD, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
With effect from 20 June 2013, Mr Izak Jacobus Bredenkamp, the
group human resources manager,has been appointed as an
alternate executive director to Gareth Robert Sheppard,an
executive director of Master Drilling.
Izak 45 (forty five) started his career in the financial
services division of the banking industry as a marketing
consultant. He then moved over to the Mining industry where he
held the position of HR manager of AngloGold Health service. He
was then promoted to New Business Development Executive of
iGoldie, a wholly owned subsidiary of AngloGold.
After a management buyout he then held the position of M.D. for
a company called GetMed (Pty) Ltd.
In 2003 he started his own shared services and consulting
company, Corporate Service Provider.
He has held a non –executive position in a number of companies
and is presently the Chair of the Performance Audit Committee
and chair of the Audit and Risk committee for a number of
municipalities, these included Tlokwe, Merafong and Kimberly
municipality.
He is a registered mentor with the National Empowerment Fund
(NEF), Gauteng Enterprise propeller(GEP),Small Enterprise
Development Agency (Seda).
He is the chairman of the Merafong business chamber,and
specialises in Human capital management and Business
development.
He has consulted for local government and the corporate market
on revitalisation strategies and business development and holds
the following degrees;MBA,B com Hons, CPIR from Wits and
Potchefstroom universities.
The board of Master Drilling would like to wish Izak a very warm
welcome and look forward to his input and expertise going
forward.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF SHANE TREVOR FERGUSON, NON-
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
With immediate effect, Mr Shane Trevor Fergusson, a non-
executive director and member of the remuneration committee, in
addition to his responsibilities, has been appointed as an
alternate to Mr Roger Davey, in respect of the audit and risk
committee, and social and ethics committee of Master Drilling
Group Limited.
