In compliance with section 122(3) of the Companies Act, 2008 (Act 71 of 2008) ("Companies
Act") and paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that
Alert Steel has received the following notifications in terms of section 122(1) of the Companies
Act:
Nedbank Limited has disposed of 19.77% of the securities of the company and Cannistraro
Investments 282 Proprietary Limited has acquired 67.35% of the securities of the company.
As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, Alert Steel has filed the required
notices with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
