CHANGES TO THE REMUNERATION COMMITTEE
In compliance with section 3.59 (c) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are
advised as follows:
- Dr CH Wiese has stepped down as chairman of the Remuneration Committee with
immediate effect but will remain as a member of the Remuneration Committee; and
- Mr J A Louw, an independent non-executive director of Shoprite Holdings, has been
appointed as interim chairman of the Remuneration Committee with immediate effect
until a permanent appointment is made.
A further announcement will be made in due course.
