UNPROTECTED STRIKE AT VILLAGE’S CONSOLIDATED MURCHISON MINE
Shareholders are advised that, an unprotected strike commenced at the end of the day shift on 10 July 2013
at Village’s Consolidated Murchison Mine Proprietary Limited.
The strike action has resulted in a stoppage of all gold and antimony production. Management will continue
to engage in constructive dialogue with employees, their representatives and other stakeholders with a view
to maintaining peace and resolving the strike.
Village reserves its right to approach the Court for an interdict in respect of this unprotected strike.
