(“ILIAD'S") WHOLESALE TIMBER BUSINESS BECOMES UNCONDITIONAL
York shareholders are referred to the announcement published on the Stock
Exchange News Service of the JSE Limited on 18 March 2013 regarding the
acquisition by York of Iliad’s wholesale timber business (“the Acquisition”). The
Acquisition was subject to approval by the South African Competition Commission in
accordance with the Competition Act, No. 89 of 1998.
York is pleased to announce that the Competition Commission unconditionally
approved the Acquisition on 24 July 2013 and it will become effective on 1 August
2013.
