APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, York is pleased to
announce the appointment of Pieter van Buuren (‘Pieter’) as Chief Financial Officer to the board
of the Company with effect from 1 October 2013.
Pieter is qualified as a chartered accountant and chartered management accountant. He has
more than 18 years professional experience, with 13 years in senior financial management
roles, mostly obtained in the construction, manufacturing, and related industries. Most recently
he was employed as the financial manager for a USA multinational firm based in Johannesburg.
He also has extensive regulatory compliance experience.
Sean Pretorius (‘Sean’), the acting Chief Financial Officer has been appointed as Chief
Commercial Officer of York. We thank Sean for his valued contribution as acting Chief Financial
Officer.
