DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE AGL SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for ANGLO AMERICAN PLC and that as a
result of the dividend declaration relating to ANGLO AMERICAN PLC (AGL) the Trustees of the Share
Instalment Trust have declared a dividend amount of 312.512 cents per AGLNII share instalment that
is payable on Thursday, 12 September 2013. The dividend is subject to a local tax of 15 per cent. No
STC credits were utilized. This results in a net dividend of 265.635 cents per share instalment. The
final payment will be rounded to two decimal places.
The last day to trade cum-dividend is Thursday, 08 August 2013. The Share Instalment will
commence trading ex-dividend from Monday, 12 August 2013. The record date will be Friday, 16
August 2013.
The dividend will be distributed by Anglo South Africa Capital (Pty) with an income tax number
9273/364/845.
