PRIVATE PLACEMENT AND ISSUE OF NEW A-LINKED UNITS
Linked unitholders are advised that Ascension has successfully raised R270 million through the issue of
60 million Ascension A-linked units at R4.50 per A-linked unit undertaken by way of vendor consideration
placement to fund the cash consideration payable in respect of the acquisition of the property known as
Atterbury House, the details of which were announced on SENS on 12 June 2013. The new A-linked units were
listed on the JSE with effect from 12 August 2013.
