Shareholders of AECI (“Shareholders”) are referred to the cautionary announcement dated
Monday, 8 July 2013 and are advised that discussions are ongoing in relation to the disposal
of the greater portion of the Company’s property assets at Modderfontein, in Gauteng.
Shareholders are accordingly advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in AECI
shares until a further announcement in this regard is made.
