CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF REDEFINE
Linked unitholders are advised that, with effect from 1 September 2013, Günter Zeno Steffens has been
appointed as an independent non-executive director and Mike Ruttel has been appointed as an executive
director to the board of directors of Redefine.
Günter Steffens established and ran Dresdner Bank AG in London for 25 years and subsequently looked
after the banks interests in Southern Africa. Prior to that, Günter was Chairman of the German-British
Chamber of Commerce and The Foreign Banks and Securities Houses Association. Günter is currently a
non-executive director on the board of directors’ of various JSE-listed companies. He was rewarded by HM
The Queen with an honorary OBE.
Mike Ruttell is a Quantity Surveyor with over 35 years technical and commercial experience in the property
development and construction industries both in South Africa and abroad. Prior to joining Redefine, Mike
spent nearly 14 years with WBHO Ltd in South Africa, followed by 5 years overseas with the Lend Lease
Group and the Al Futtaim Group.
