APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements
of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, the board of directors of
Stellavista (“the board”) hereby notifies its shareholders of
the appointment of Mr Craig Andy Newman and Mr Misel Cizek as
Independent Non-executives Directors of the company with
effect from 26 August 2013.
Mr Newman has over 23 years of experience in the exhibition
industry and commenced his career at Reed Exhibitions. He then
accepted an appointment as CEO of Kagiso Exhibitions and
Events, one of the largest exhibition-organising companies in
South Africa. Craig then moved to the position of MD of Oasys
Innovations and is currently CEO of Johannesburg Expo Centre,
a position he has held since 2006.
Mr Cizek is a qualified architect with over 28 years technical
and commercial experience in South Africa and abroad. Misel is
currently the CEO of Mishel Cizek Architects, incorporated in
1997 with a wide range of experience in residential, retail,
offices and hotels.
