UPDATE ON WAGE NEGOTIATIONS
Further to the announcement released by EVRAZ Highveld Steel and Vanadium Limited (“the
Company”) on SENS on 22 August 2013 on its group unaudited results for the six months ended
30 June 2013 and the note regarding the going concern of the Company, Shareholders are
advised that a settlement has been reached in the wage negotiations between the Company and
both representative unions, Solidarity and NUMSA. Subsequently the Commissioner from the
Metal and Engineering Industry Bargaining Council has issued a certificate on 23 August 2013
confirming that the wage dispute raised by NUMSA has been resolved.
