Further to the announcement released on SENS on 1 July 2013, in compliance with the JSE Limited
Listings Requirements, participatory interest holders are advised that the appointment of
Mr Gerhard Van Zyl to the board of Strategic Real Estate Managers (Pty) Limited, the authorised
management company of Emira, as an independent non-executive director, was approved by the
Financial Services Board on 10 September 2013, which is the effective date of the appointment.
