ANNOUNCEMENT OF BOND AUCTION
The following auction will be conducted by Rand Merchant Bank on
behalf of FirstRand Bank Limited. The auction will be subject to the
following terms:

Auction date: 26 September 2013
Settlement date: 1 October 2013
Issue size: Around the R4 billion area across the nominal
bonds on offer (FRB reserves the right to issue
at its discretion and can increase the issue
size if demand and pricing supports. The issue
size of the inflation bonds will be subject to
delta, demand and price)
Bonds: FRJ16, FRX16, FRJ17, FRX17, FRJ18, FRX18,
FRJ19, FRX19, FRX23, FRX24 and FRX31
Tenors: 2,3,4,5,6,9,11 and 17 years
Interest nature: Floating and fixed
Delta: Preference will be given to bids that are given
with delta and only the companion bond will be
accommodated.
Pricing: Indications are as at 16 September 2013, as
displayed on Reuters FRBBONDS and Bloomberg
FRBP On The Run Bonds.
Minimum denomination:ZAR 1,000,000
Auction methodology: Sealed bid without feedback
