SPECIFIC ISSUE CIRCULAR POSTED AND RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
1. Specific issue
Shareholders are referred to the various announcements regarding the specific issue of shares for
cash (“specific issue”). Shareholders are advised that the circular has been mailed today.
The general meeting of shareholders to approve the specific issue will be held at the office of Alert
Steel, corner of Engelbrecht and Lanham Streets, East Lynne, Pretoria on Wednesday, 16
October 2013 at 10:00.
2. Renewal of cautionary announcement
Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement dated 5 August 2013 and are advised
to continue exercising caution in dealing in the company’s securities on the JSE until such time as
the financial effects of the Build Kwik acquisition are published.
