Shareholders of AECI (“Shareholders”) are referred to the cautionary announcements dated
Monday, 8 July 2013 and Friday, 18 August 2013, respectively, and are advised that discussions
remain ongoing in relation to the disposal of the greater portion of the Company’s surplus
property assets at Modderfontein, in Gauteng.
Shareholders are accordingly advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in AECI
shares until a further announcement in this regard is made.
