Further renewal of existing cautionary announcement
Further to the cautionary announcement released by EVRAZ Highveld Steel and Vanadium Limited
(“the Company”) on SENS on 27 March 2013, the further cautionary announcement dated 28
March 2013 and the renewal of the aforesaid cautionary announcements dated 6 May 2013, 20
June 2013, 1 August 2013, and 3 September 2013 shareholders are advised that negotiations are
still in progress between EVRAZ plc (LSE: EVR) ("EVRAZ") and a black economic empowerment
consortium represented by Nemascore (Pty) Ltd (“Nemascore”) which, if successfully concluded,
will result in the sale of EVRAZ’s 85% stake in the Company to Nemascore (the "Transaction").
The Transaction is expected to be concluded towards the end of 2013 and may have a material
effect on the price of the Company’s securities.
Shareholders are advised that a Non-disclosure Agreement has been concluded between the
Company and Nemascore and that the high-level due diligence process is progressing.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised to continue exercising caution when dealing in the
Company’s securities until a further announcement is made.
