CURRO SENIOR SECURED FLOATING RATE NOTES AND CREDIT RATING
Shareholders are referred to the announcement published by the Company on
25 June 2013 in terms of which the Company advised that may embark on the
listing of a Domestic Medium Term Note Programme (“the Programme”) on an
unsecured basis which will provide the Company with capital for expansion
over the long term.
The board of directors of the Company has now decided to issue the first
tranche in terms of same on a secured basis by way of Senior Secured
Floating Rate Notes to the value of R150 million (“First Tranche Notes”).
The board of directors are pleased to announce that GCR has awarded the
First Tranche Notes an initial South African National Scale rating of A-,
with a stable outlook.
The Programme is, subject to approval by the JSE Limited, expected to list
before the end of November 2013.
