RESIGNATION OF NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the
following information is disclosed:
Saad Mered has resigned from Zurich South Africa’s board as a non-
executive director with effect from 1 January 2014 to pursue other
opportunities within the Zurich Insurance Group.
Mr Mered has been a member of Zurich South Africa’s board since
2010 and has further served as a member of the nominations and
remunerations committees.
Dolly Mokgatle, Chairman of the Board said: “I would like to thank
Saad for his commitment, unfailing support to the Company and
global insight during his tenure.”
Recruitment for Mr Mered’s replacement is underway and a further
announcement in this regard will be made in due course.
