CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the announcements released by The
Bidvest Group Limited this morning regarding:
- the proposed acquisition of up to 34.5% of the issued share
capital of Adcock Ingram by way of a tender offer which opened at
09h00 South Africa time this morning; and
- the contemplated institution of legal proceedings in respect of
the “CFR/Adcock Ingram transactions”, details of which have not been
provided.
The Company is currently considering its position in relation to
both of these announcements and will advise shareholders in due
course. Shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in
the Company’s securities until a further announcement is made.
