CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with Section 3.59 of the Listing Requirements
of the JSE Limited, Alert Steels’ shareholders are hereby
notified that Mr Javed Gani has been appointed as Chief
Operating Officer of the Alert Steel Group with immediate
effect.
Gani, a local entrepreneur started BuildKwik in 2009 with one
store in Pretoria West. Within four years he had established
seven stores which he subsequently sold to Alert Steel. Prior
to starting BuildKwik, Gani worked in the family-owned
business, Kit-Kat Cash & Carry.
