THE WAY FORWARD
In light of the recent developments at the annual general meeting held on the 22 November
2013, shareholders are advised that a special board meeting was held on 9 December 2013
to discuss the way forward for the company.
At this meeting the PKH board unanimously agreed to explore ways of improving the
working relationship between Eqstra Holdings Limited (“Eqstra”), the company’s largest
single shareholder, and PKH. This initiative will be pursued by actively engaging with Eqstra
management in an attempt to seek and develop synergies between the two businesses that
will enhance future value for all shareholders.
The PKH board has also embarked on a process to select and appoint two suitably-qualified
independent non-executive directors and an executive financial director to fill the current
vacancies on the board and the audit & risk committee. It is anticipated that one of the
newly-appointed independent non-executive directors may fill the position of Chairman.
