RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MEETING
Chemspec shareholders are referred to the notice of general
meeting dated 19 December 2013 which contained information
relating to an amendment to the Employee Share Option Scheme.
On the request from certain shareholders, it was agreed to amend
the resolution as follows:
“RESOLVED THAT, as an ordinary resolution, the aggregate number
of unissued ordinary shares which any one employee or retired
employee may acquire in terms of the Employee Share Option
Scheme, shall be increased from 10,000,000 shares to not exceed
15,000,000 shares.”
The amendment reduced the maximum number of shares which any one
employee or retired employee may acquire from the initially
proposed 30 000 000 shares to a maximum of 15 000 000 shares.
Shareholders are advised that at the General Meeting of the
Company held today, 15 January 2014, the resolution as set out
in the notice of General Meeting and subsequently modified at
the general meeting, was duly approved by the requisite
majority.
