Cautionary announcement
Shareholders are advised that Hulamin has entered into negotiations with
BHP Billiton SA Holdings (“BHP Billiton”) over the future of slab supply
from the Bayside casthouse. This follows BHP Billiton having commenced
an engagement process with its employees over the restructuring of its
Bayside operations.
Hulamin sources approximately one third of its rolling slab requirements
from the Bayside casthouse in Richards Bay, and produces the balance in
its Camps Drift facility in Pietermaritzburg.
As these negotiations may have a material effect on the price of the
Company’s securities, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when
dealing in the Company’s securities until further announcements are
made.
