In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the following information is disclosed:
Zurich South Africa today announces the appointment of Patrick Manley to the board of directors (the
“Board”) as a non-executive director and a member of the Remuneration and Nominations Committees,
effective 14 February 2014, subject to Regulatory approvals.
Mr Manley represents the ultimate holding company, Zurich Insurance Company Limited, incorporated in
Zurich, Switzerland.
Dolly Mokgatle, Chairman of the Company’s Board said: “We are pleased to announce the appointment of
Patrick Manley. In his role as CEO, General Insurance EMEA (“Europe, Middle East & Africa”) and CEO,
Zurich Insurance Plc. he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business and the Company’s
Board.”
