DISCLOSURE OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SPAR SECURITIES
In accordance with Section 122 of the Companies Act, No 71 of 2008, as amended, and
paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, SPAR shareholders are
advised that the Company has received notification that Public Investment Corporation
Limited (“PIC”) has on 24 January 2014 acquired a beneficial interest in SPAR
securities and subsequently held 20.086% of the total issued ordinary share capital of
the Company.
On 14 February 2014 Spar received notification that PIC disposed of a beneficial
interest in SPAR securities and now holds 19.940% of the total issued ordinary share
capital of the Company.
