Sanlam shareholders are advised that the Sanlam Integrated Report 2013, which incorporates the audited
annual financial statements of the Sanlam Group for the year ended 31 December 2013, is available on the
Sanlam website (http://www.sanlam.co.za). The audited annual financial statements of the Sanlam Group
contained in the Sanlam Integrated Report 2013 contain no modifications to the audited financial results of
the Sanlam Group for the year ended 31 December 2013 released on the Stock Exchange News Service of the
JSE on Thursday, 6 March 2014. The summarised annual financial statements of the Sanlam Group for the
year ended 31 December 2013, which includes a notice of the Company’s 16th Annual General Meeting
together with a form of proxy, will be distributed to Sanlam shareholders by no later than Monday, 31 March
2014.
