TRADING STATEMENT
In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements,
companies are obligated to inform shareholders as soon as there is a
reasonable degree of certainty that the earnings of the company are
likely to vary by more than 20% compared to the previous corresponding
period.
The Wesizwe board of directors therefore wishes to advise shareholders
that the Company expects to report a basic loss per share attributable
to ordinary shareholders for the year ended 31 December 2013 of between
0.52 cents and 0.58 cents per share, compared to a basic earnings per
share of 0.60 cents per share for the previous comparable period.
A headline loss per share attributable to ordinary shareholders for the
year ended 31 December 2013 is expected to be between 0.63 cents and
0.69 cents per share, compared to a headline earnings per share of 0.70
cents for the previous comparable period.
The financial information included in this trading statement has not been
reviewed nor reported on by the Company’s external auditors.
