CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Following the completion of the Knife Capital transaction
announced earlier this morning, the board of directors of
Afdawn (the “Board”)is pleased to announce the following
changes to the Board:
- Mr E van Heerden (“Eben”), has been appointed as Chief
Financial Officer of Afdawn with effect from 27 March
2014;
- Mr WJ (“Jacques”) Groenewald, who was appointed as Acting
Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of the company on 24
February 2014, has been appointed as the permanent CEO of
Afdawn with effect from 28 March 2014; and
- Mr K van Zyl (“Keet”), currently a Non-Executive Director
of Afdawn, has been appointed as an Executive Director of
the Company with effect from 28 March 2014.
The Board welcomes Eben, Jacques and Keet and wishes them
well in their new appointments.
