In accordance with the requirements of paragraphs 3.63 to 3.74 of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements (“Listings Requirements”), the following information regarding a transaction by an
associate of a non-executive director of Metair, is disclosed:

Company of which he is a director: Metair
Date of transaction: 04 April 2014
Nature of transaction: Disposal
Class of securities: Metair ordinary shares (“Shares”)
Price per Share: Value weighted average price of R42.02; highest
price of R42.80; lowest price of R42.00
Total value of transaction: There is no value attributable to the transaction as
Mr Joffe did not transact directly in the Shares.
Notwithstanding this, in compliance with
paragraph 3.63(b)(iv) of the Listings
Requirements, the deemed value of Mr Joffe’s
holdings is R29 061 578.26.
Written clearance to deal: Yes
Nature and extent of interest: The disposal by Corocapital, of which Mr Joffe
holds an indirect beneficial interest, of an equity
interest in an entity which holds Shares. This has
resulted in Mr Joffe’s indirect beneficial interest in
Shares decreasing by 691 613 Shares.
