TRADING STATEMENT
In compliance with section 3.4(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, BCX herewith
provides guidance regarding the anticipated headline earnings per share ("HEPS") and
earnings per share ("EPS") ranges for the 6 months ended 28 February 2014.
Shareholders are advised that BCX expects to report HEPS of between 15.0 cents per
share and 17.0 cents per share (H1 2013: 19.1 cents per share) and EPS of between 51.0
cents per share and 54.5 cents per share (H1 2013: 19.6 cents per share).
The difference between the HEPS and EPS calculations as well as the decrease in
earnings from the comparative interim period is largely attributable to the sale of the QLink
business effective 1 September 2013.
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company`s auditors.
The Company`s unaudited financial results for the six months ended 28 February 2014 are
expected to be published on 15 April 2014.
